What can I expect after a Halo treatment?

As your skin heals over the next few days to weeks, there will be significant improvements with the overall appearance of your skin. The dark pigment and discolouration, tone, texture, fine lines,wrinkles, and pore size will improve, leaving you with healthy radiant HALO glow. This process will continue over the next few weeks to months as your body repairs and rebuilds collagen and elasticity.

How many sessions do I need?

Our experienced and skilled team at PureGlo will discuss your needs and create a customizable treatment plan to meet your goals. You will see an overall improvement within one session. However, some patients will require 2-3 treatments spaced about 4-6 weeks apart. This will depend on what concerns we will be addressing and patient goals. It is recommended that yearly maintenance treatments will ensure that you will maintain your results as we continue to age.

What does a Halo treatment look like and recovery?

Halo offers great results and is a rather comfortable process. Most patients describe the treatment as a heat sensation with tiny pinpoint pricks. Topical numbing cream will be applied and nerve blocks can be administered if necessary (specifically on patients’ needs) providing even more of a comfortable experience. Motion tracking technology will ensure the area is treated evenly as our skilled technician rolls the Halo handpiece over each measured section. Following the treatment, patients may feel warm for 60-90 minutes after the treatment is complete. Your face will feel and look like a mild and moderate sunburn. Redness will subside over the next 24 hours.

Over the next few days you will have MENDS – bronzing of the skin will come to the surface, and you will experience peeling over the next 5-7 days. Some patients see mild swelling and itchiness as their skin regenerates and heals with new skin.

Make-up can be worn 48 hours after the treatment. You will be given post-care instructions of how to care for your skin during the recovery period including a list of DO’s and DON’Ts. You will experience full recovery within a week, revealing beautiful, healthy, radiant, youthful HALO GLOW.

When will I see results?
